Silicon coated PET release film is made of PET film coated with silicone release material on one or both sides. The coating layer is equable, has no wrinkle, avulsion, granule, pinhole or air bubble. Since the silicone is highly cured, there will be essentially no migration of the silicone to any adhesive which may come in contact with the film.

This product provides excellent slip, low release force and good dimensional stability over a wide temperature range.

Release film is used in electric inter-liner for molding of insulating parts. Electronic release film is used in the layup of multi-layer PCB. Adhesive inter-liner used for adhesive tape manufacturing. Plastics inter-liner for the production of sheets form casting compound. Roofing felt covering and protection film for the adhesive part. Bitumen covering and protection film for pipeline wrapping tapes. Rubber inter-liner to prevent blocking (self-bonding) of rubber sheeting.

This special silicone coating is formulated to give premium release from selected solvent based adhesive. The other side is specially treated with a slip control coating to ensure proper tracking of the film web. Along with high strength, flexibility and chemical resistance, this product provides excellent slip and good dimensional stability over a wide temperature range.

Minimum silicone rub-off provides very consistent release level. Excellent handling characteristic. Clear distortion free coating. Better than 95 % subsequent adhesion.

The silicone coating on polyester film is specially treated prior to winding. This silicone formulation provides premium release from certain solvent based adhesion. The special control slip coating treatment essentially eliminate the effect of backside silicone transfer. The slip control surface may act as a primed surface for printing using special polyester film inks.
